DROP necklace
The DROP neckless offers an alternative way to wear your finger rings – either because your rings do not fit your fingers anymore or because a task makes it inappropriate to wear them. Or simply for decorative reasons and an alternative way to carry your jewellery. Using Ivory wood – each piece unique by nature – as the main material, rings will rest safely, yet still exposed. Either one ring or in a composition of more rings.
Goldsmith Bodil Binner co-founded the organisation ”Fairtrade Jewellers” to ensure ethical and sustainable use of precious metals, stones and pearls in the jewellery industry. She finds her primary source of inspiration in the silence and beauty of the sea. DROP is the second jewellery design made in collaboration with Lars Vejen.
